NOTE: This event is for both Acoustic and Electric guitarists, and for Bass players
The strings of your guitar are too "hard" to play, even if you are using light strings?
When you play on your guitar, the strings "buzz" on the frets, and that's annoying you?
Or simply, you have no idea if (and when) the neck of your guitar needs some adjustments (HINT: in Alberta, most guitars need a little neck adjustments twice a year)
All of the above problems can be fixed easily, and you do not need to be an expert to fix them. You just need to know HOW to do it, and yoiu can learn it in less than one hour.
Sure, you can take your guitar to a specialist if you want to - and if your guitar has major problems, that is what we would recommend you do anyway...
... but all the problems above (and much more in fact) you can easily fix by yourself... if you know what you are doing.
Two Types Of Guitar Problems
There are two types of problems your guitar may have:
Some of them are "objective" problems like:
- The neck of your guitar is not straight (so it's nearly impossible to play)
- The strings of your guitar buzz on the frets
- The guitar is not "even" throughout the neck: the strings are not at the same distance to the fretboard throughout.
And some other are "preference" problems like:
- Your guitar is playable as it is, but you prefer the strings to be a little closer OR further away from the fretboard to accommodate your guitar technique better
All of the above, you can fix it by yourself...
... but where do you learn HOW?
Well, We Can Teach You!
The solution is our seminar: Set Up Your Guitar
In this course we'll see:
- When do you need to make neck adjustments? What are the symptoms that your guitar needs a neck adjustment?
- How to make neck adjustments by yourself, in a safe and easy way. Once you've learned, it takes only a few minutes.
- Understanding what tools are necessary (you probably have all of them already)
